AS A RESULT

On Sunday morning, Arthur drives to a nearby lake to fish. Instead, he catches discarded boots, plastic, and debris. He clears the rubbish from the water, then buys fresh fish at a local market. His neighbors admire his apparent success; he leaves their assumption uncorrected.

At home, Arthur cleans his apartment and prepares dinner. With a glass of wine and a Paris skyline portrait on the wall, his ordinary evening hints at wider dreams. AS A RESULT observes a day whose quiet achievement is a cleaner lake, unseen by those who celebrate his catch.
